Do I need a referral to see Dr. Clare Patterson?

A referral from your GP is recommended for Medicare rebates but is not always required for a consultation. Cosmetic consultations do not need a referral.

What kinds of skin concerns do you treat?

We manage a wide range of skin conditions, from skin cancer and acne to facial and body rashes, hair loss and cosmetic concerns such as pigmentation and ageing.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your referral (if applicable), Medicare card and a list of your medications. If you have any previous skin biopsy or treatment records, please bring those too.

How long does a typical consultation take?

Initial consultations usually take between 20–30 minutes depending on the complexity of your condition. Cosmetic consultations may vary.

Do you perform skin cancer surgery onsite?

Yes. Most skin cancer surgeries, including excisions and biopsies are performed in our fully equipped clinic.

Can you help with cosmetic skin concerns like ageing or sun damage?

Absolutely. We offer non-surgical aesthetic treatments including laser, injectables and personalised skincare plans tailored to your goals.
